Membership Requirements
Organizational members shall consist of organizations whose company or a portion of their company represent graduate admissions consultants who have an interest in the purpose and objective of the corporation and who meet any additional requirements for Organization membership as may be imposed by the Board from time to time.
Organizational membership is based on the number of active graduate admissions consultants in your organization.
Consultant Requirements
Graduate admissions consultants must:
- Directly interact with clients to provide admissions advice
- Be compensated for providing admissions advice
- Hold a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution
- Have 24 consecutive months of work experience in graduate admissions consulting
- Have served a minimum of 15 clients
- Uphold all of the principles that AIGAC represents
Membership Levels
Large Organization
- Annual Fee: $1,650 USD
- Size: This membership is for organizations with 6 or more active consultants
- Subscription period: 1 year, starting on April 1 each year
- No automatically recurring payments
Medium Organization
- Annual Fee: $795 USD
- Size: This membership is for organizations with between 2 and 5 active consultants
- Subscription period: 1 year, starting on April 1 each year
- No automatically recurring payments
Small Organization
- Annual Fee: $395 USD
- Size: This membership is for organizations with only 1 active consultant
- Subscription period: 1 year, starting on April 1 each year
- No automatically recurring payments
Affiliate Member
- Annual Fee: $325 USD
- Subscription period: 1 year, starting on April 1 each year
- No automatically recurring payments
- Requirements: Professionals in fields related to graduate admissions who support the stated mission and Principles of Good Practices of the Association but are not providing direct admissions advice.
- Please note: Affiliate members are non-voting members.

Applicants shall be admitted to membership on making application therefor in writing, upon payment of first annual dues, and upon approval of the AIGAC Board of Directors.
Please note that consideration of applications typically take 4-6 weeks.
